Combining Rentals and Purchased Displays As you can tell, there are many advantages and disadvantages associated with renting a trade show exhibit vs. purchasing, and as many trade show exhibitors contemplate whether to go with either one or the other, we would also like to present the option of combining the two. Combining rentals and custom options provides a very flexible opportunity as more and more people are starting to view custom options as an effective way to enhance a booth property they rent. With easily modified graphics and configurations, as well as added variables such as kiosks, tabletops and touch screen displays, custom options can help tailor and enhance messages to various audiences.
In the last few years, companies have used recent advances in fabric printing technologies to develop lightweight, pop-up fabric panel displays. These are cost-effective solutions, which offer great opportunities for exhibitors to customize a rental property to fit their specific corporate identity. They are designed for easy set-up so exhibitors can focus on the show without having to worry about the booth. It is an inexpensive option which can save exhibitors money on storage, transportation, drayage and labor costs. Many of today's pop-up fabric displays have lightweight frames that assemble in seconds. The fabric is either already affixed to the frame and stretches out when the frame is popped up, or can be put onto the frame with Velcro after the frame is assembled. The frames fold down to a size that can fit into a carrying case that can literally be thrown over your shoulder and carried onto a plane or placed into the trunk of your car!
