Cabinet Maker/Finisher

Adler Display is looking to hire a cabinet maker/finisher.

We are growing our team and are excited to offer a full-time position to create custom displays. We build custom-designed exhibits and displays to create unique environments for our clients. Check out our work at www.adlerdisplay.com.

The employee’s role is to work with our project managers and designers to fabricate custom displays for our clients. The cabinet maker will interpret, fabricate and sometimes install displays for various custom environments. The ideal candidate would have experience in building cabinets to include laminating, finishing and assembly.

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience as a cabinet maker and/or exhibit fabricator
  • Hands-on experience with shop fabrication and working knowledge of shop tools
  • Ability to prep for finish with proper surface preparation.
  • Responsible for spraying both paint and stains, mixing custom stains, use of wipe stains, scuffing, sanding, topcoat, and other finishing responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere with designers, project managers and fabricators
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task various projects
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
  • Capacity to interpret conceptual renderings and shop drawings
  • Ability to lift at least 50 – 75 lbs.

Preferred

  • Experience working with acrylic, metals, solid surface materials
