We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented 3D Custom Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative problem-solver with a passion for design and a strong command of 3D rendering and exhibit development. Position Overview

Adler Display is seeking a 3D Custom Designer to develop compelling concepts and production-ready designs for custom environments. In this role, you will translate client goals, budgets, and timelines into thoughtful 2D graphics and 3D exhibit concepts that are functional, detail-oriented, and visually engaging. You will collaborate closely with clients, sales, project management, and fabrication to support projects such as trade show displays, permanent exhibits, and corporate environments..

Key Responsibilities

  • Create 2D graphic designs for permanent displays, trade show exhibits, and signage
  • Develop 3D exhibit design concepts and renderings from initial concept through final design
  • Prepare detailed specifications and design documentation to support fabrication of exhibit components
  • Produce client-facing presentation materials and participate in design presentations as needed
  • Communicate design concepts clearly and professionally to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain an organized Mac-based design workflow, including file organization, archiving, and software updates

Qualifications

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to create designs with client budgets and schedules
  • Proven ability to collaborate in a team environment with sales, project managers, fabricators, and other designers
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  •  Experience creating line drawings, shop drawings, and 3D renderings using tools such as Vectorworks and Artlantis (or comparable software)
  • Minimum of three years of professional graphic design experience
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field preferred

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Generate new business and maintain existing accounts through professional and effective sales techniques
  • Provide product knowledge and technical support to customers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and team members
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase products and services
  • Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts in a timely manner
  • Attend trade shows and other industry events to stay current with market  trends and advancements
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with customers and suppliers                                                           
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the company

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field                     
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, specifically in the display industry
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
