We were honored to help LifeBridge Health and Sinai Hospital create a memorial recognition display to remember the life of Lenny Robinson, the Baltimore Batman who dedicated his time and money to charity.
Robinson’s mission was to entertain and brighten the lives of ill and terminally ill children by appearing as Batman and teaching lessons about fighting battles, no matter how hard. Robinson was struck and killed by a car in 2015 on his way home from a festival where he was appearing as Batman for hundreds of children.
The display features Robinson’s actual Batman costume. The mobile display was built on wheels so it can be moved to different areas of the children’s hospital as well as individual patient rooms. The display also includes a plaque and video screen that plays images of Robinson with the many children whose lives he touched. May his memory live on in them.
