Project of the Month: Towson University

Sep 22, 2016 | Project of the Month

Towson University approached Adler Display to help add school spirit to its athletic center with new displays. The University requested graphics that were clean and simple, and maximized use of the school’s logo, colors, and mascot. The University also wanted to incorporate a Maryland theme into the project.

The new athletic center displays include monitors that play footage of the school’s athletic activities, dimensional logos, back-lighting to highlight the school’s mascot, window and wall graphics, and a Hall of Fame wall. Our design team incorporated the Maryland theme by including the Baltimore City skyline in the mission, vision, and core values display.

“The athletic center displays for Towson University are about branding an entire space to create a certain look and feel that inspires students, parents, fans, and anyone else who walks in the building,” explained Jeff Bank, exhibit consultant for the project. “Our goal is to create displays that stand out while also complementing one another in the shared space.”
