Honoring a Legacy of Excellence: Adler Display and the Naval Academy Lacrosse Hall of Fame
When the United States Naval Academy sought to build a fitting tribute to its distinguished 100-year lacrosse tradition, they turned to Adler Display. Charged with designing and building displays for the Bilderback-Moore Navy Lacrosse Hall of Fame, Adler brought its full capabilities to bear.
“We saw this as an opportunity to really honor the generations of Midshipmen lacrosse players who built this proud program,” said Ron Adler. “Our designers, fabricators, and technical specialists collaborated closely with the Naval Academy stakeholders to capture the right aesthetic and functionality.”
The centerpiece of the Hall of Fame is the James H.H. Carrington Room, which showcases trophies and stories of the Naval Academy’s National Championship teams.
Adler custom-built illuminated trophy cases pairing high functionality with visual brilliance to highlight the accolades. An interactive N-Star wall recounts the rivalry with Army through painted and dated lacrosse balls representing each Navy victory.
“Beyond celebrating past greatness, the Naval Academy also wants this facility to impact the future by attracting today’s elite lacrosse recruits,” added Ron. “Our displays effectively showcase the Navy lacrosse tradition that future Midshipmen will be joining.”
From concept to final installation, Adler Display brought its A-game. Today, the Naval Academy Lacrosse Hall of Fame stands as a world-class sports heritage museum.
