University of Maryland School of Pharmacy was looking to update its recognition displays and relocate them to a more prominent, public space.
After conducting a site visit, we helped the school create a comprehensive recognition display for its lobby space by the reception desk. The design, which included edge-lit acrylic and LED lighting, recognized three categories of individuals: Board of Visitors, Key to Pharmacy Hall Award, and Honorary Doctorate Degree Recipients. A second set of displays recognized Endowed Lectures and Past Speakers, Student Awards, and Faculty and Dean Emeritus Award Recipients.
The displays were completed within the school’s budget and in time for the increased foot traffic due to the celebration of its 175th anniversary. Design and fabrication were completed so the displays can be easily and economically updated in the future.
