Unveiling Enlighten’s Office Transformation
When Enlighten Software Engineering decided to revamp its Columbia, Maryland headquarters, it turned to Adler Display for a fresh, innovative approach to office branding. The result? A stunning two-phase project that perfectly captures Enlighten’s essence and creates an inspiring workspace for its team.
Phase One
Phase one involved collaborating with Mackenzie Contracting Company to produce two eye-catching pieces. First up was a custom desk that cleverly incorporated Enlighten’s brandmark “E” with sleek LED lighting in the corner.
The showstopper, however, was the freestanding “E” shaped wall. This floor-to-ceiling installation was built in three sections off-site and then meticulously assembled on location for a perfect fit. The addition of LED lighting gave it that extra wow factor, making it an instant focal point of the office.
Phase Two
The second phase involved branding the main corridor and kitchen area. After presenting several concepts, Adler landed on a design that truly resonated with Enlighten’s vision. The solution carries visitors through the main corridor and greets them with a series of textured wall murals and environmental graphics that tell Enlighten’s story, followed by a massive 20-foot wall featuring a charcoal “E” pattern background, with “We are Enlighten” proudly displayed in dimensional white acrylic letters. It’s bold, it’s modern, and it perfectly encapsulates the company’s identity.
Tapping Adler’s craftsmanship and carpentry skills, they created a cyber-futuristic style graphic that adds a cutting-edge feel to the space. The shelving is a mix of floor-to-ceiling black powder-coated aluminum and custom wood floating shelves, providing both style and functionality. Custom wood box frames were also added, perfect for displaying plants and other artifacts that bring personality to the office. The kitchen was enhanced with additional floating shelves, creating a functional and visually appealing space.
Enlighten’s transformed headquarters reminds us that it’s more than just an office – it’s a space that inspires creativity, collaboration, and pride in your brand.
