Towson University’s College of Health Professions is home to innovative, interprofessional programs shaping the next generation of healthcare leaders. As part of its new state-of-the-art Health Professions Building, the university needed a donor recognition display that would honor its valued supporters and inspire continued generosity. Towson University turned to Adler Display.
The Challenge
The challenge was twofold: design a display that seamlessly integrates with the building’s modern architectural character, and ensure that all materials, finishes, and visual elements align with Towson University’s established brand identity.
The Solution
Adler Display developed a refined, timeless donor wall that complements the facility’s warm, contemporary aesthetic. The design incorporates rich, dark-stained maple panels that match existing architectural finishes, paired with light maple frames and Corian accents for a clean and modern contrast.
To introduce natural texture and dimension, Varia Ecoresin panels featuring grass-like reeds were integrated into the layout, creating visual depth and reinforcing a connection to wellness and the environment. LED lighting and dimensional lettering provide an elegant, sophisticated finishing touch.
For practical long-term use, the donor names are showcased on acrylic panels with text printed on removable clear film. This approach ensures easy, cost-effective updates as donor lists evolve.
The Impact
The completed donor wall feels intentionally woven into the architecture of the Health Professions Building, elevating the space while celebrating the generosity of those who support Towson University’s mission. Its harmonious design, thoughtful material palette, and future-proof functionality create a focal point that recognizes today’s donors and inspires tomorrow’s.
